  Week 1:

The purpose of this week is for each group of students to compare similarities and differences between members of their group. By conducting surveys of hair colour, eye colour and birthday months the students will collect, record and analyse numerical data.

The students write a collaborative review of the collected data. This activity gives the students the opportunity to write in a style that demonstrates an awareness of the intended audience.
