Homes and Buildings

	This project will provide students with the opportunity to study homes and buildings around the world. During four consecutive weeks the students make comparisons of the differing housing environments that surround the participating schools. Students will be able to compare the types of housing that are found globally.

	This project will enable students around the world to share information about their own domestic plants and animals. During four consecutive weeks the project will also provide the students with an opportunity to study the global diversity of natural plant and animal habitats. The project will provide students with the opportunity to participate in a comparative bean growing experiment.

	This project begins with students around the world sharing information about modes of transport that are known to them. During four consecutive weeks students will share information about transport systems and journeys that are familiar to them. They will also research the history of transport and journeys. There will be opportunities to share their research findings with other participating students.
