Week1:
The purpose of this week is for each group of students to plant their bean as part of the ongoing Grow a Bean activity. Students identify the differences between wild animals, domesticated animals and pets. By conducting a pet survey the students will collect, record and analyse numerical data. The students write a collaborative review of the collected data. The students write about the needs of their individual pets. These activities give the students the opportunity to write in a style that demonstrates an awareness of the intended audience. |
