Week 1:
The purpose of this week is for each group of students to identify the modes of transport they use to travel to school. Students conduct a transport to school survey. The students collect, record and analyse numerical data. The students write a collaborative review of the results of the transport survey. These activities give the students the opportunity to write in a style that demonstrates an awareness of the intended audience. |
